How big of a problem is theft and who all does it impact?

Theft....welll its been going on since the the day Adam and eve robbed the apple...yep, they were the first thieves and in the ensuing years we had rape and pillage by Kings and Queens ,Vikings.., crusaders,...Bonny and Clyde...great train Robbery`s and even politicians trying to steal our rights or gossiping neighbours trying to steal our time with their constant whining.

Theft has been alive and well for thousands of years and to be honest if you were to put the last 2000 yrs on a bar chart I do not think you would see a huge difference between today and yesteryear....Why? Well man has not changed alot over the past 2000 odd years, only technology and the media avenues, so that we hear about theft faster than our ancestors and bad news travels fast and is profitable.

I turned my TV of 2years ago and as a result i rarely think about theft and i,m not depressed by all the bad news the media thinks i have a right to know.

So how big a problem is it, its only as big as you want it to be or worry about and it will only effect those that allow it to affect them if they are careless and do not take the proper precautions and even then , nothing is fail safe.

So bottom line I think is it will always be with us , we should just not let it rob us of the freedom we have by giving into the fear it creates
