Love has no bounds
Your love found me
You untied the chains around my heart
Set me free to beat a brand new drum
The sound of freedom
Ringing across the land
Like the pounding of a horse`s hooves
Carrying its message of the day
We are free, we are free
Cry’s the herald from the back of his noble steed
Jesus died for me , who will listen
Who will receive this message that I yell
Walk away from religion
Close the gates of hell
Stand-up be counted
Staff the walls of your heart
Do not let another steal the life
So gladly paid for...
Run the race powered by the Son
Let you last breath be his name upon your lips
so his Loving arms welcome you home
As you cross your fathers threshold
After that long journey Home

I,m new to this great world of poets..its a great road to be driving down together...opens up allsorts of possibilites....yesterday i was writing a new chapter in a book I,m writing and read some of it over the cell to my wife and she said
" Emmm Honey It sounds just like a poem"
Lol it sure did.......will look up my new band of brothers/ sisters....

Mike Many people thinkof poetry as being full of profound statements and insights, and it is we should always pay attention to statements , insight, when they occur, but not all poems make statements, some poems simply present a picture ask a question, or plunge the reader into an experience.almost all poems have sense, something they mean to express, to do, or to call your attention, here is your first prose, love it, I am so happy that I inspired you to write this poem, now i feel special(:) looking forward to your next poem..
